Marylanders for a Second Crossing
a group formed by Montgomery County citizens unhappy with traffic congestion on the American Legion Bridge. The group brings together citizens and businesses who point to studies and surveys showing the amount of time and business lost because of traffic congestion on 270 and the outer loop of the beltway headed into Virginia every morning.

Road to Ruin
A report by Friends of the Earth and Taxpayers for Common Sense, details the worst proposed roads in America, and includes contributions from numerous national, regional and local organizations. This year's report will be released this fall, and highlights 25 of the worst road projects across the United States. By drawing parallels between individual road fights across the country, the report sends the message that something is fundamentally wrong with U.S. transportation policy. Some of the projects are new proposals, while some, like Indiana's I-69 proposal, have been around for years.
