The Convention Store, Inc.

Founded in 1984, The Convention Store, Inc. is an organization that specializes in the design and implementation of transportation systems for conventions, trade shows, special events and sporting events. The Convention Store is also engaged in various Transportation Demand Management projects throughout Northern Virginia. Specifically, The Convention Store contracts with Arlington and Fairfax Counties to operate and manage The Commuter Stores (since 1995) and The Connector Stores, respectively. The Arlington Commuter Stores contract also includes operation of the 703.228.RIDE call center and process fulfillment of CommuterDirect.com Other contracts include the Washington Metropolitan Airport Authority's operation of the ticket sales portion of the Washington Flyer Bus Service at Dulles International and shuttle systems at such events as Presidential Inaugurations and the PGA Championships.

Pulsar Advertising, Inc.

Pulsar Advertising is a full-service marketing and advertising firm that has established a reputation as a leading national transportation agency with offices in Washington, DC, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Pulsar has been the agency of record for the Arlington County Commuter Assistance Program (CAP) since 1996. In collaboration with CAP, Pulsar has been involved in all aspects of marketing for Arlington's Commuter Stores, from the actual store design to all advertising and promotion development. The Mobile Commuter Stores are an extension of the original Commuter Store concept. Since its inception, Pulsar has been actively developing marketing and advertising for of this exciting new program. Other current clients include BART in San Francisco, MARTA in Atlanta, and Metrolink Commuter Rail in Los Angeles, among many others.
